About Wind Power:
Wind power has recently enjoyed tremendous growth in the Mid Atlantic region. There are a host of major wind projects in various stages of development and permitting in the Mid Atlantic region.
President Bush challenged the nation in his last State of the Union address to embrace renewable energy to lessen our national dependence on foreign oil.
Governor Rendell of Pennsylvania has shifted Pennsylvania from the “Keystone State” to “The State of Independence” in his quest to see Pennsylvanians create ways to harvest our renewable resources and lessen our dependence on foreign oil.
Many states have enacted or are in the midst of legislating renewable energy portfolios that will require by law, implementation in the near future. While utility scale and community wind projects often require years to develop, finance, permit and construct, small wind projects do not.
Our focus at WindPoint Energy Systems ™ is to develop, permit, secure financing, project manage, and construct small wind systems for private individuals, rural businesses and small groups such as religious, community and educational entities. Once the systems are constructed and commissioned, we will offer ongoing operation and system maintenance services.
Further, we are able to provide local representation to outside entities that want to pursue renewable energy projects in the Mid Atlantic region. Our staff, facilities and regional resources are available to those who do not currently have those resources available.
The principals of WindPoint Energy Systems ™ bring over 50 years of dedicated service in the public and private sectors of construction and engineering to each project that we decide to undertake. This experience coupled with our belief that renewable energy is the future that our future generations deserve points to our mission:
Simply stated, we at WindPoint Energy Systems ™ will approach each project that we undertake with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism as we partner towards a future where renewable energy projects are commonplace.
